First Impression Review of PSALMSTRE New Placenta Skin Whitening and Anti Aging Beauty Day Cream Classic Peach Formula with Sun Protection Factor / SPF (15 grams)

(Philippines Skincare Product)

I supposed to get the Psalmstre New Placenta Day Cream Skin Whitening with Bio Placenta Extracts, that was what I actually ordered from Baterflai Tat. Then I thought I need day cream with SPF. I should have ordered the Classic Peach Formula one. Knowing she doesn't like buyers to change anything after placing any order, I remained in silence. Surprise, surprise, I received the classic peach formula one in the Psalmstre haul mail! Lucky me!

PSALMSTRE New Placenta Classic Peach Formula Beauty Day Cream
Price: IDR 78.000 or about USD 6.67
The box design has a very cheap look. If you know nothing about Philippines beauty products, you will pass over this. It says there "BEWARE OF IMITATION", but this looks like fake item. Good thing, they put all information on the box (except they don't mention how high the SPF is). They also mentioned the cream was featured in ABS-CBN's Kabuhayang Swak na Swak. A TV channel? Filipinos know better. Both of manufactured and expiry dates are clearly listed. Mine was made on April 2013 and going to expire by April 2015.

Product description and what they claims

Psalmstre New Placenta Beauty Cream with Classic Peach Formula is specially developed using safe and carefully-selected ingredients. It is best for aging skin and areas with skin blemishes and ideally recommended for everyday use to achieve a healthier and younger-looking skin complexion.

How to use

Use day and night after washing your face with Psalmstre New Placenta Beauty Soap.
Perhaps they meant to use the Psalmstre night cream at night? Who needs SPF at night time?

PSALMSTRE New Placenta Classic Peach Formula Beauty Day Cream ingredients:

Aqua, Petrolatum, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Triethanolamine, phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparaben (and) Ethylparaben (and) Butylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Placental Enzymes / Bovinae Placenta Extract, Carica Papaya Enyme (Papain), Parfum, CI 19140 and / or CI 16185

The container is plastic made, secured with plastic seal.
I didn't expect the cream would be orange or peach color, so ya now the name reflects the cream color. The smell is refreshingly good like citrus. If you want to use this, you are going to make sure to spread the cream and even out the color. It won't turn your skin into peach, but if you didn't you'll end up clowny, your face gonna look like covered by white powder. The texture reminds you of BB cream, work this out as if you apply BB cream. The color is however a few shades lighter than my face color, but give it some minutes so it will look natural (BB cream?). Look the description again, 'It is best for aging skin and areas with skin blemishes'. Yes, they might create this to hide blemishes, but the coverage is so so. It's sheer. Nothing special. The finish is matte.

My first week experience. In the morning, after bath, I layered my face skin with the Psalmstre New Placenta toner. After it completely dried, I used Psalmstre New Placenta Classic Peach day cream. My face sweat a lot due to the hot weather, so the cream doesn't long last.  I'm happy it doesn't cause any pimple. No irritation. No clogged pores.

I use this a long with the Psalmstre New Placenta night cream and Psalmstre New Placenta toner. So far so good. My skin look better. The acne blemishes on my left cheek fade away. My right cheek, where it could grow 6 pimples at one time, is not bothered to grow any new one. There were more than 7 acne blemishes (on right cheek), in a week, this Pslamstre leaving 4 blemishes to be done. My face looks healthier. I love to see my skin is not dull anymore.  Next time, I will do a progress review using a full line of Psalmstre New Placenta products.
