DhienarChannel is a blog owned by myself.
By 2012, I fell into Youtube. You can laugh but I seriously tell this, even though internet is no stranger to me, I had no dare or wish to open Youtube or to watch anything there. In that 2012, I went from one movie to another, from one product review to another, from one beauty tutorial to another, from one haul to another haul. Youtube has become a new toy to me. What's there awaken me? There in Youtube, if you upload and share video about Japan, it will hit thousands and thousands even millions of view! All the kawaiiness, the cuteness, the uniqueness, the modernity, the mind blowingly things, everything Japan will attract you whether you like or hate Japan. Anime, manga, and their derivatives products are their cultures. Japan is already packed as the whole brand that sells.
I began to think, if I talk about Indonesia (the middle of nowhere country said Justin Bieber) what will attract foreign people? A little information international people know of Indonesia are only about how wide it is, how unorganized country it is, how corrupted country it is, how rich of natural resources it is, how beautiful of Bali-Raja Ampat-Lombok it is, how many of the Poor it is, how ''oh it's an archipelago", how "oh the tropical country", how unsafe it is, and stuff. Even sadly known as a terrorist country. But I realized, while we don't have kawaii thingy like Japan's, that's how Indonesia is unique. I read a book titled Kangen Indonesia or (I) Miss Indonesia that is written by a professor from Japan, Hisanori Kato. There he says he misses Indonesia. He loves Indonesia with its flaws (well ya, I believe everything has flaws). There's something with Indonesia. So ya...
Once again, I may not amazing in writing especially in English (but my writings may hit the nerves --if you are bothered to call it reality) and I may not travel to and discover one place to another place in Indonesia. Thus, I try my best to explore the feeling of being Indonesian and living in Indonesia. In this bog I will share all little daily findings which means you will also find unrelated things of Indonesia here e.g. home remedies tutorial, product reviews, etc. I promise those won't spoil the blog. That's a part of me trying to understand other cultures. Who knows in the future I'll travel somewhere. (っ◕‿◕)っ
Read every capture, collect the puzzles, that's how to understand Indonesia and other cultures.
Here I present my journal of thoughts and experiences.
Hi from me and it'd be nice to read your feedback in the comment section.

My name is Dhienar, a pure Indonesian who always mistakenly called by people as Indian or Arabian due to how my eyes look (but my nose doesn't say so). I speak English with so limited vocabularies and mostly have to translate first the sentences to English in my mind before the words out (in term of speaking). This is what happens to many foreigners whose English is not their native language and who even learned English at school, never have someone to practice speaking in daily activities. Anyway, I'm not surprised if many of my International readers have no idea where Indonesia is. Please don't be offended by that, but I really need to show this map up. Yes, Indonesia is right there near Singapore and Malaysia, it's on the top of Australia, and Bali island is a part of Indonesia (italic, bold, underline). ❁◕ ‿ ◕❁

My personal in touch with blogging happened in 2009, there was such a blogging event in my campus and have been hooked since then. I tried Blogger, Joomla, Tumblr, Wordpress, but finally went back here. Earlier, in Blogger I started blogging about books as I'm a nerd but it didn't go last. I thought there was something off with Blogger, no neat looking template (I didn't know about we could play the html code). My blog ended up like a child creation, this color hit that color, too many colors. Tumblr then was too confusing for me. People reblogged this and that. Moved to Wordpress, I found way enough amount of decent and professional templates served for free. There I blogged about books and cultures. After sometimes, Wordpress is boring and too limited. Sure that boredom came after I realized Blogger lets you to make up your blog all the way you want. In 2011, I created this blog for a purpose and the name (URL) of the blog had been changed several times. You see now my first post is in 2014 but it's actually not. I had to delete posts along 2011 to early 2014 to match the new theme as I rebrand the blog as DhienarChannel. OK, TMI for that.
